To create a great portrait my role as a photographer will be to capture the personality of a person or group of people. This can further be enhanced by using effective lighting, backdrops, and poses.
Depending on your requirements a portrait photograph may be artistic, fun or clinical. Portraits are often commissioned for special occasions, such as weddings, family gatherings, or social events.
A good portrait can have many purposes, ranging from a gift for granny, up-to-date family portrait, online profile picture, used on a personal website, to display a skill or hobby, receive an award.
When Portraits are taken in the studio I can control all aspects of the final image including the lighting what backdrop to use to create the look required.
Lifestyle portraits may be taken outside at home or in the workplace.
